Samsung SH-182F Dead Buffer

[qanda]This thread is about the Samsung SH-S182F / TS-H652F. Click here to see full specs[/qanda]The device was working well this morning but suddenly the Device Buffer seemed to go crazy going to 100 then back to 20 then back to 80 then back to 60 and so on…

I was trying to burn using Imgburn on Verbatim DVD+R DL Made in singapore @ 2.4 X

Is it fixable…???

Hi,

have you already checked if DMA is enabled for your drive?

Additionally, checking the HDD with the diagnose tools of the HDD manufacturer is another good idea.

What app were you trying to burn with. Have you any other programs running at the same time you were burning.

Mr michael… I’ve done what you said… and it WORKS… i didn’t know what i was doing… but it worked…

Is there any topic i would read to know what is the DMA thing is about.
