Samsung sd-608 is not recognized in Flash program after flashing

Please Please help me i just flashed my dvd drive which is a samsung sd-608 i used the firmware version bt01 which allows you to run region free , but upon following the instructions everything went well until the reboot now the computer see the drive at bootup from the bios as sd-608 but the firmware version is listed as (boot) i cannot select this drive in the flash software anymore to reflash it , please help me somebody there must be a way to fix this problem so i can watch my dvd's.

lemme get this straight

You flashed your sd-608 with firmware bt01
You rebooted
Bios says it’s still a sd-608
Windows shows the version of the sd-608 is not bt01 , but (boot)
You cannot flash it anymore

Is this a DOS flash or windows flash program ?

And please use proper grammar since i had to read your question like 7 times and still have no clue if i read it correctly

I also had a bad flash experience with the sd-612 samsung drive. Drive was dead after boot. Reflashed it with mtkflash, everything went fine. Visit the Lite-on forum and check out the mtkflash sticky thread. Don’t worry, you’ll fix the drive :wink:
