What about HDMI 2.0? I’m guessing since this was announced last January, several months before HDMI 2.0 was announced, that it only support HDMI 1.4 and therefore the 4k playback is limited to 24fps for film. 4k for TV will support 60 fps and this is only possible via HDMI 2 or display port.
Enjoy your already obsolete TV early adopters.

There’s no HDMI 2.0 on any computer monitor yet. The fact that some TV manufacturers are releasing 4K display units before HDMI 2.0 finalization and commercialization means they are doing much better than others in the standard committee for HDMI.

Meanwhile, wait for one to sell for US$150, not US$150K.

Wow $150K!

It’ll be a while before I’m getting one for the bedroom as well then.

My thought is that these incredibly expensive products are meant for the richest Saudi princes. Samsung actually sends people to princes and billionaires to sell such TVs just like European and Canadian firms sell private jets and luxury sedans in gold and silver.

TBH they’re about the only people that could afford these things.

You can buy an entire house for less than that here.
