I’m sure the multitudes of case manufacturers are thrilled to see this.

So I’m guessing this is for those people who are so addicted to their smartphone that they never let go of it long enough to put in their pocket? :stuck_out_tongue:

It does look handy for when you lay the phone on a table. Might be better suited to tablets.

I can’t understand why top and bottom both the screens are curved ? I means bottom screen curved sounds okay I can make call but curved screen at top … how can I make call ?? Can we carry this over to our pocket ??

It’s probably to protect either style of curve and I wouldn’t think in reality they’d have both as shown in the diagrams as it would be an impractical shape.

I’ve already seen photos in magazines of the Samsung with a curved edge and it looks pretty cool as the status icons are along the curved edge.

I suppose this is really just an extension of their existing curved screen technology.

Well, what I was thinking is what is the need of devices with curved screen would say for televisions it do looks well and good but for mobile devices don’t you think its hike of creativity or I think now they ran out of ideas and thus by bending smartphones they are trying to pushing the fashion of bended smartphones.

To clip it around your wrist, like a watch?

@debro that’s a good idea but they are far too away from clipping smartphones over the wrist !
