I’ve tried RICOHJPNR03 (Memorex brand) and I think it’s really nice. As good as RICOHJPNR01 in the old days.

RICOHJPNR03 at 16x in NEC ND-3540A 1.W4, LG GSA-4163A A104, BenQ DW1620A B7V9, and Plextor PX-716A 1.08.

Thanks for your answer.
Plextor’s scan is good-Others have many total errors and above average pif max errors (compared to quality 8x media as YUDEN000-T02-00 @16x)
I think Fujifilm DVD+R 16x (PHILLIPS C16) is still best 16x DVD+R media found this moment http://club.cdfreaks.com/showpost.php?p=1018055&postcount=37

Maybe except firmware, also depends on brand’s quality order (Samsung will be made better deal with Ricoh) so stay on searching better batches.

Note that Plextor scan above did not reached 16x. Also, Plextor 716A and NEC 3540 scan at 1ECC, while BenQ 1620 scans at 8ECC, so the standard max PIF are different, ie max PIF of 4 for 1ECC and 16 for 8ECC.

If you look deeper in this forum you will find lots of MCC004, TY02 or even TYG02 can get better result than the PHILIPSC16 in your link above. (sorry crossg).

I think, looking for good results for 16x rated media not comparing quality 8x media and 16x media -Also deeper in this forum I don’t read MCC004 to be loved by many burners .(also my 2 liteons do the same)
