Hi,
I bought a new Samsung burner last month (S203N) to try try out on one of my autoloaders, and was disappointed to learn that trays only eject 95% of the way on these models.
This might be 100% according to Samsung specs
Not good in an autoloader setup, where an arm on the unit lowers the disc in a tray, so the tray has to be 100% open when ejecting. Never seen this with other brands.
Nexperia Benq and Philips drives have the same “tray travel”.
I can’t think of anyway to change that. Is Samsung just not compatible with autoloaders?
Support of special, not widespread applications like autoloaders is not something you can expect. I am sure, the manufacturer of your autoloader has some recommendations for (replacement) drives. Maybe a Pioneer (or a LG) is the better option for you, since their trays have some more travel.
