To bad we won’t see any 12x DVD-RAM media in the market to make it worth the upgrade. :frowning:

Cool, finally a drive that does not depend on ITAPI and thus not worrying about the driver issues. I’ve long waited for An SATA drive that does not give any problem with windows driver. Forget about plextor, over price and the quality is not the same as those old school scsi burners

Looks like their timing is good. I need another SATA DVD writer. All my IDE buses are taken. (4 ATA IDE’s :slight_smile: ) I hope the burns are good.

It’s about TIME !!! Is this the first TRUE SATA DVD burner, thats nice. Maby we will se more, dvd burners, dvd-rom, and other optical media going to true SATA mode. Finaly to get rid of the old IDE interface :smiley:
