Hi I Have a Toshiba sd-m1502 dvd-rom for Reading.and a Liteon 24x10x40 cd-rw drive for Writing. and have been able to get SD 2.8 to burn with an older version of clonecd ,but sense i have gone to 4.2.0.2 I can’t seem too? I am using the profiles listed here in the form . what am I doing wrong?? oh they seem to work on my toshiba , but on my other computer with a creative dvd-rom …NADA But with the older version of clonecd they did.
Help :confused:

I had the same situation back up copies I burned with clone CD (latest version) worked in my toshiba CD roms but not in any others. what I did was switch to alcohol 120% for safe disc 2.8 games now the back ups play in any CD rom or DVD rom.

with clone cd 4.2.0.2 i read and write with my lite-on 24102b(24x10x40) using this profile for safedisc 2.8 and it works everywhere.

i’m goin to see if i can use that on splinter cell

question though:

my other profile is similar to yours with the exception of:

AlwaysCloseLastSession=0

… mine had a 1 rather than the 0 - would that make a huge difference?

No. All pressed originals are closed anyway - it makes no difference.
