Safe rotation speeds for partially cracked CDs?

What is the approximate maximum speed for CDs to rotate at, which are cracked at the inner edge?

What is the minimum speed for a crack on a CD to grow?

And: Is it any different, if there are multiple cracks?
Does the pressure spread evenly?
Is it different for DVD/HD-DVD/BD? (they do not crack anyways, but just in case.).

Too many variables here to warrant a single answer that covers all circumstances.

I’d say you’re overthinking this.

Put the disc in a desktop-style half-height drive, read at the minimum speed the drive is capable of, make a backup copy and be done with it.
