RV this is WIERD

Ok so here goes. I made the copy from a brand new DVD of RV. The software:

anydvd 6.0.4.5
ripped with dvd decrypter
burned with clonedvd2

It worked but the copy had maybe 20-25 different spots where the sound would skip, the picture pause for a moment and then would keep playing. I tried it on my computer dvd player and it worked just fine. So I burned another copy with the same ripped files but slowed the burn speed down i think 4-6x. Anyway this new copy does the same thing on my tv dvd player but it will also at the same time draw white lines, and or circles on the screen as the sound skips and the picture pauses. Then it just keeps playing. So I put it back in the computer dvd player and it worked fine…?? What the heck…I have been doing this process (same software, disks, players etc.) for a long time and this is a first for me. ANY IDEAS??

I the long run would I be better to use anydvd to also rip the files and skip using dvd decrypter? Thanks

Welcome to cdfreaks. Here is a nice thread on the problems and fixes it may help you too.

what type of media do you use

Magicman22 -

Visit SlySoft (http://www.slysoft.com) and download the latest up to date versions of AnyDVD v6.0.50 – CloneDVD v2.9.01.

If using the above latest up to date versions of AnyDVD v6.0.50 – CloneDVD v2.9.01 doesn’t correct your problem you might need to consider getting a better quality of blank DVD Media. The below Web Link provides detailed information on quality blank DVD media.

thanks for the tips guy…i did start reading the other RV thread but didn’t get all of the way through it…will be doing so though. I am using HP dvd+r disks. I only used them because they seemed to work in my player. I am on about the 20th disk and this is the first problem. I did just update anydvd to 6.0.5.0 but have not re-ripped the disk yet.

Once again…thanks…lots of information here
