I don’t think Microsoft can call their app store Windows Store either because there already is a windows and doors store called TheWindowsStore.com. I think if I was Microsoft, I’d call it WinApps and get my web site registered as WinApps.com ASAP.

The thing about apps, is generally the phones, especially the web apps, are just to use services that are already free on the internet.

The great thing about windows, is most of the little stuff, you can find freeware/shareware programs. I don’t know if an apps store for an OS will as successful?

btw do we really need a new version of windows already, windows 7 is just catching on.

Perhaps you don’t need it, me don’t need it, but at least MS shareholders do need it. :slight_smile:
