RPC-1 Firmware for DVR-K15RA?

Hi guys!

I’m not able to find rpc-1 firmware to make my pioneer dvd player in my new Acer Aspire 3000 Laptop region free. I’ve searched Acer for oem firmware but after hours no luck!

I’ve run DVRFlash_v2.2_win32 and it completes successfully, however DiscInfo still shows the status of the drive as “Lock Detected”. I also tried DVRupdate, no luck.

Is there a solution to unlock my drive without having to install DVD Region+CSS Free?

What does that mean? What exactly have you done?

Run DVRFlash and it will show you the state of your drive.
