Rockbox: The Open Source Jukebox Firmware

I just posted the article Rockbox: The Open Source Jukebox Firmware.

Rockbox is an open source replacement firmware for MP3 players, giving additional functionality. It can run on a good variety of models, including Archos, iRiver and 4th generation iPods.

In this article, we take a look at specifically what Rockbox can offer and were especially pleased for the opportunity to interview one of the project founders.

I’ve know about the project for quite some time. It’s great what they have accomplished. I wish I could use it rigth now, but I’m waiting for that elusive Windows Installer. If/when they finally come up with a good one, I’ll be the first one download and install it. Keep the good work.:slight_smile:
