Rm. avi. mpeg Help!

I barrowed a cd from a friend and that the contain files are in rm. which need real one to play (on Computer). I want to convert the rm. to mpeg. so i can burn in a cd, which then i can play it on a standard dvd player. I tryed to use rmconverter located at this site. www.boilsoft.com/rmconverter.html
It tells me to convert it to avi then to mpeg but the process needs to be the same as the length of the video (waste of time) and that there is no sounds when u play the avi.
I want to know if there is a converter that can convert rm. to mpeg. Please help:bow:
Thank You:bow:

All tyhe RM converters I’m aware of all convert to AVI first, then you have to convert them to MPG. Long process but unfortunately its the only way.

The best I have used is Tinra 0.05 from http://members.fortunecity.com/tinra04/ Its also free ! You need to have RM installed.

You need the TinraGUI also, then read the Readme.txt file, it give all the hints you need to get it going.

Also, run RM and in its setup/options/preferences, turn of Hardware video acceleration. If you dont, all you get is a black screen.
