Hello,

the scan looks like a BR2, but hasn´t it to be a BR3 if they are real 6x made by Ritek?

Kind Regards

Sorry, I asked pepst to correct my mistake. Thank you for catching the wrong MID. It should be BR3.:iagree:

Thank You very much, that´s a very good result for the BR3.
Looks as if these are just “upgraded” BR2, quality didn´t keep up with velocity.
I wasn´t satisfied with this MID at 6x or faster on Pioneer, LG and LiteOn, neither of them could burn the BR3 fast with good results.
But if 4x works, this will do it for me.

Hi everyone,

I have some TDK branded Ritek-br3. I know that they are not as good as TDK MIDs from Japan. I have looked at the disc quality tests posted here and elsewhere at 4x, 6x and 8x. Because I want the burnt discs to be readable more than a year later (unlike the BR2), should I bother to burn them on my LG BH10LS30 at 2x? Will that make a difference in reliability?

Thanks

Thanks for the scans, I think Ritek BR3s burned at low speed could be good for storage, the BR2s seem to bad and not good enough quality.
