Ripping Homemade DVDs With Nero

Hi, I bought a video camera that came with Nero Express 6. The video camera automatically writes the film to a DVD disc when you record.

My question is: How do you rip the DVD to your computer so that you can view it on windows media player or whatever? I tried to do it, and what I did was convert it to an ISO file when I burn it to my computer, but then how do I view it from that? Do I have to get a converter that converts ISO to a different file type? Which file type would I need it to be? And is Nero able to edit videos so that I can split up my video into segments so I can put them on YouTube?

Thanks! It’s really frustrating trying to do this since I’m new to it all, but at least I’m still trying. :stuck_out_tongue:
