Ripped DVD plays in cpu but

does not play in my home dvd player. Could it be that my player does not read dvd+r or could it be something else? Input greatly appreciated.

First of all, welcome to the forum.

We need more info from you like…
what’s your DVD2One’s version?
what burning method are you using?
what’s your standalone DVD player’s make and model?
what brand of media are you using?
Is this your first backup DVD?
have you tried it on different standalone player?

Just saying your car is broken makes it difficult on the troubleshooting process.

You can check out your Player compatibility here :

but, as 2Cool says … more info needed, if anyone’s to help you.

You will have to change the bitrate setting of your drive. The free software is available here

What brand of dvdplayer do you have? And which burningprogram do you use?
You better use dvd-r, it is more compatible with most standaloneplayers and use the latest nero 5.5.10.15

Thanks for the welcome. The answers to tyour question are as follows:

DVD2One’s trial latest trial version
Roxio Easy CD Creator 5- Basic
Samsung DVD-611
Memorex DVD+R… It says on the package for PC or Home Vidieo Use
Yes, this is my first backup attempt
No, I haven’t tried another stand alone DVD player yet.
Also, I’m using the latest version of DVD Decryter.

Are you burning as a DVD or a disc image? I made the mistake of burning as a disc image once. It is a format that DVD players don’t understand.

Not reading too many good reports on the Samsung DVD-611 .

First things first -------- Try different media, ideally a Ritek disk, if this doesn’t work try another standalone .

I take it that the disk plays ok on your PC ?

P.S.
What DVD RW Drive are you using ? & what firmware is instaled
