Right now DVDFab is having problems with a certain R1 version of Bangkok Dangerous.
In the meantime I have successfully ripped a copy using RipIt4Me. Here's how I did it.
Ripped movie only (RipIt4Me shows 4 Titles (1, 23, 24, 25), choose Title 1). Take out the "<" and ">" characters from the beginning and end of title since RipIt4Me won't work otherwise.
When clicking on find PSL, it takes a few minutes for RipIt4Me to develop one (where it's usually instant).
I then start the rip. DVD Decrypter is quite slow at the beginning doing a lot of processing. It looks like it's doing nothing for awhile but actually is. After awhile it finally takes off and finishes the rip without any retries. The rip took me 34 minutes where a usual rip for me is about 8 minutes.
When clicking "Do it", an error message pops up about a possible scratched disk and you have the option of doing another rip or not.
Select "No". Another message then pops up asking if you want to process what you got and it says it's not recommended to do so.
Do it anyway by selecting "Yes". (If you click "No" at that point, you will be stuck and nothing will work with those files, basically you will have to start another rip from scratch)
It will then process and you will then have to clean the vobs before DVD Shrink will be able to open it.
Go ahead and do that. DVD Shrink will then open the movie and you will be able to view it, compress it and burn it with your preferred burning program.
I have verified this works (but verified only for this version I have). I have not actually watched the movie I burned yet but when viewing parts in DVD Shrink, I saw nothing wrong with it. I will have to watch the whole movie to see if everything came out ok.
At least this is a way to get a copy while waiting for DVDFab to come out with an update.
