How can I increase the speed of ripping on my BTC1004 drive.
The reads are locked in at 2x speeds.

What firmware revision do you have? Sounds strange… its reading/ripping abilities have made it famous…
It is an Emprex model (rebadged 1004)
FW version is 0049.

Last time I ripped was with firmware V0043… they might have limited it now in the more recent versions.
