Rather difficult to answer, but is not infrequent that something has a very high price. The only thing easy to say is that Ridata discs are not worth the money :disagree:

Only Verbatim discs proved to be reliable about DL discs, so I suggest to get them instead of Ridata.

I’d rate these discs 0 (zero)

Shouldnt it be named “RiData DVD+R Double Layer”??

“Dual” and “Double” layer DVDs are two totally different types of media.

Because they are much more difficult to manufacture and consequently, the manufacturing yield is poor.

Verbatim (as Geno already said) or FalconMedia Pro.

Hi Chef
Well i have just read on the Ridata Site and I see they say the material used is Premium Organic Dye.
Now is this the bad dye as compared to Verbatim or Imatiom…

The technology behind DL production is not only one, but at least two different ones.
The expensive one is used by Verbatim, the less expensive by all the other manufacturers…
