[newsimage]http://static.rankone.nl/images_posts/2011/03/lG8Vr2.jpg[/newsimage]The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has issued a written response to Rep Zoe Lofgren, the California Congresswoman who suggested that the innocent victims of Homeland Security's Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency’s seizure and mistaken child pornography accusations of 84,000 domains last month should sue the US government. RIAA and ICE officials apparently only see what they want to.
This is so true…their true colors came out…and now they try to deflect the blame…
I’m surprised that the RIAA hasn’t tried to gag her thru the courts. That’s the way it’s done in the US isn’t it??
What’s interesting to me is the accusations of chid porn. I suspect that those accusations are just a mask to cover up the RIAA’s real motivean which is to ruin the name of artists that don’t subscribe to their services. After all, since when is the RIAA the enforcers against kiddie porn?
Did the RIAA ever hear that “Two wrongs don’t make a right”? Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren is merely pointing out that there are “proper channels” that were not used, when this flagrant abuse of power took place.
