Funny, The RIAA shows their pure desire for cash since Canada isn’t included on this list. Every time I buy a blank CD in Canada a pay a levy which goes to the recording industry. As a result of this stupid levy I am now allowed to copy CD’s for “personal use” which has been interpreted to mean including a friend a copy my original CD. Basically I just can’t sell the CD’s and posting it on the internet is a no no. But to copy it, while it’s your legal right. However the recording industry won’t complain since they get the levy. Why to only buy CD’s in the states and then bring them back to Canada.
