Where can i find the 1.02 firmware for Plextor 24/10/40 IDE ? It’s not on their web sites :slight_smile:

Where can I download Firmware V1.02 the only upgrade I can find is V1.01. :frowning:

Oops, forgot to say that that firmware 1.02 is not offically out yet. We had permission from Plextor to publish the results of this new firmware before it is offically released.

That Plextor ruled we already knowed but this is some piece of hardware i realy wanna have :4

You can keep Plextor. After they let us down with their 12x & 16x burners, I found cheaper and better alternatives, Acer & now Lite-On! Now Plextor tries to appeal to the ones who made them popular in the first place. I say it’s too little, too late.

The lite-on is a rebadged plextor so that argument doesn’t really hold water. Besides, while Lite-On is a good choice too, your statement about “let-downs” is frankly outrageous. The 12x and 16x Plextors have been most excellent, as several tests and satisfied ppl will have you know.
