So why don't you use it? Is the method any different to the one used to apply 1.19? Are you getting some kind of error message from the flasher?
Seem to recall it's package as a BOOT CD ISO file. You burn it to a CD and then boot the system with it.
The DOS flasher program has a /FF option to "Force Flash"
To download firmware, use the following syntax:
FLASH [path]filename [switch] [switch] ...
To display information, use the following syntax:
FLASH [single switch]
Remark : If use single switch, other switches are ignored.
Ex) flash /d, flash /H, flash 001.bin /ff /NP, flash 001.bin /sm /nm ...
/D, /d : Display Drive Information;
/H, /h : Display SmartFlash Help
/FF, /ff : Regardless of versions, the drive is forcely flashed.
/NP, /np : Prompt Off
/NM, /nm : Message Off
/PM, /pm : Manual Port Selection, Primary Master
/PS, /ps : Manual Port Selection, Primary Slave
/SM, /sm : Manual Port Selection, Secondary Master
/SS, /ss : Manual Port Selection, Secondary Slave
