Revert to Mozilla 2?

Can't find the file to download...How do I revert back to Mozilla version 2. I have a graphing program that won't work with version 3. I can't locate a version 2 file anywhere at Mozilla or anyplace else.

Thanks, Bob, you found it. All I could find was version 1, and Mozilla site has nothing but 3 right now.

No problem. I still haven’t loaded 3.0 yet. Think i’ll wait for a few updates first If i do i’ll install it i’ll put it in a different folder and run both versions.

Good idea (a different folder for v 3), I should have done that. Version 3 looks promising. It finally figured out that I have a widescreen monitor and used the whole width of the screen. But the stock toolbar is very oversized. Nothing’s perfect, I guess. Anyway, I need my graphs and didn’t have time to troubleshoot with version 3. I’m up and working again with version 2… regards, gamma1

Bob, do these coexist as “separate” browsers (if installed in different folders)? With separate uninstall programs? I don’t want to overwrite FF2. regards, g1

I’m running Vi$ta Ultimate 64 bit…told FF3 installer to use Firefox3.0 in All Programs and also Firefox3.0 in Programs. To make a long story short i cannot run both versions at the same time. If i have FF2 open and then open FF3…FF3 will still be FF2. If i open FF3 and then FF2…FF2 will be FF3.

So i don’t know if it’s a hybrid doing it this way? But works for me lol

You can always uninstall FF3 if it doesn’t work for you. They are separate installations the way i did it.

I’m just messing around with FF3 for now.

And multiple versions can co-exist; just add -no-remote to the startup command line (you probably also want a -p profilename because sharing a profile is a bad idea)
