As the TV industry promotes HDTVs and Blu-ray players with 3D support, a new report from In-Stat predicts one in five TVs sold by 2013 will be 3D-capable models.

That’s right. And I hear blueray sales will overtake DVD sales in 2010.

I highly doubt that…

If 1 in 5 TV’s sold in 2013 are 3D capable, it could be merely because 1 in 5 TV’s manufactured for that sales period will be 3D capable, not because consumers are explicitly going after it…

Where I live, people dont even steal CRTs TVs anymore. You can find them on the street on garbage day.:bigsmile::bigsmile::bigsmile:
