Replacement 2500a with Datawrite grey tops

#1

Does a better job of reading the discs I burned with my previous 2500a but still gives read errors

Successfully burnt at 8x and verified with Nero on Datawrite Grey Tops DVD-R
Decided to do a speed test on the burnt disc but it wont read over 4x

Any ideas?

Check if DMA is enabled. Sometimes it is disabled automatically by Windows.

nec2500a is pooh at reading disks
I always use my liteon 166 with speed hacked firmware.
also dvdinfo pro seems to have issues with read speed
try nero dvd speed instead

#4

DMA is enabled
Checked via hardware manager and Nero Info Tool
