Repairing scratched CDs?

Are there anything that anyone wants to recommend? I have some CDs with a lot of very very light and tiny scratches. you have to hold them at an angle at the light to see them.

What can resurface the CDs? And does resurfacing always scratch the entire CD layer off like toothpaste? Can’t it “fill in” the cracks?

They work, I just want them clean looking.

You can buy a CD/DVD cleaning & polishing machine from Walmart for $20 that will remove scratches just like the movie and game rental places use
