Repair/resurface DVD

I know this issue has been covered in previous threads but those threads are already several years old. I’m looking for something to resurface some of my DVDs as they are scratched beyond the “toothpaste” method (though I believe they’re still recoverable as the scratches are not gouges per se).

Brasso has been recommended but apparently it’s been recently reformulated and is not recommended. (http://www.mcgee-flutes.com/scratches.html)

Has anyone used any of the Skip Doctor products? I’m wondering how well they work. I’ve seen resurfacing liquids but they tend to be very expensive.

I think this stuff works awesome http://meguiarsdirect.com/detail/MEG+G12310

This one works pretty good and it is motorized.
