Remote control inactive

Hi guys & gals I'm a newbie to your site and just got a Sony Mod#RDR-GXD455 DVD recorder. I cannot get into into the system menu with the remote. I mistakenly changed the remote's address from the factory setting of 3 to 1. Now I can't get the remote to operate to change my mistake. I'm a novice in this type of problem any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Foune:confused:PS I've tried everything in the manual but nothing works.

Do you still have he manual from the time you bought the unit? That would be your first source of referrence to look to. If you don’t have it anymore your left with calling Sony support and getting more help on it or order a manual to help you with the settings. Try this link to see if this will help
