Registry Data not Found

Everytime I start my computer up, I get the message :Registy

Data not Found:. I don’t know what this means and don’t know if

it will hurt my machine. Is this a problem I should be worried

about and how can I get rid of it.

Hi kerry J, welcome to the forum. sounds like your Keyboard driver is corrupt, reinstall the driver or try and install a newer one and it should solve the problem, if not let us know and somebody might have a some other solution .

@kerry J

What operating system are you running. Different O/S have diff approaches to resolve registry problems.

I am not sure what you mean. I have a wireless keyboard and

mouse and all I had to do was plug in the reciever and push a

button on both.

It’s a software problem with your computer so it’s not going to cause any damage to your machine, so don’t be worried. Can you fill us in a bit more on when did this message first start happening ? Did it start happening after you installed or deleted any programs ? Even if it’s a wireless keyboard , XP still has a driver for it to work on your computer.
