I just ran dvd2one. I t created the compressed files but there is also a realone player icon in the VIDEO_TS folder with the other compressed files. Is it OK to write to the DVD-R with that in there.

Thanx

The only files you should have in your VIDEO_TS folder (for Movie only) should be

VIDEO_TS.BUP 12,288
VIDEO_TS.IFO 12,288
VIDEO_TS.VOB 157,696
VTS_01_0.BUP 98,304
VTS_01_0.IFO 98,304
VTS_01_0.VOB 157,696
VTS_01_1.VOB 1,073,565,696
VTS_01_2.VOB 1,073,565,696
VTS_01_3.VOB 1,073,565,696
VTS_01_4.VOB 1,073,565,696
VTS_01_5.VOB 311,538,176

The file lengths will very slightly of course for every movie/encode.

If there is any other file other than those above, then delete it before burning to a DVDR.

I think what you mean is that the TS & VTS_xx_00 files are all bearing the Real One icon yes?

That is normal and prolly because that is your default DVD playback software on your system. My files always carry the Win DVD icon for these files as that is the default player on my system. Everything is fine and just copy & paste the two folders into your burning software as per normal.

Thanx, it worked great in both cp/standalone.

One wierd thing happened. I was using 2x verbatim dvd-r…normally takes about 30 min fot the burn.
This time it took 110 min and the used buffer read went from 98 down to 0 and stayed there the whole burn…any ideas.
