Thanks, I do get confused though sometimes about what programs do what and the “order” they need to be done in.
For example…I used DVDFab to copy to my hard drive, then I used Shrink and Imgburn…so DVDFab copies, Shrink…well does what it says and Imgburn burns.
What are dvddecryptor and ripit4me made to do? Or are they one in the same? Can someone post a link or briefly explain the process to copy a DVD so I can understand a bit more clearly? thanks again, appreciate it.
just keep doing the three.
[li]DVDFab decrypts the dvd and rips to hard drive http://www.dvdfab.com/docs/[/li]
[li]DVD Shrink compresses the video to fit to a single layer dvd. http://www.dvdshrink.info/guides.php[/li]
[li]ImgBurn writes the video data to dvd disc. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=61[/li][/ol]
dvd decrypter is an outdated program to break copy protections, it was developed by the same author as ImgBurn, but is no longer updated.
ripit4me is an automated process which uses a couple different programs to decrypt, rip, shrink and burn your dvd backups.
It would be easier just to buy dvdfab platinum and let it do it all ( copy, shrink, burn ) and you can either use Imgburn, Nero or the vso engine to burn it
yes, dvdfab is just two clicks and you dvd is done.
