hi, i successfully ripped a movie to my hard drive with dvdfab. Now there are two folders a video_ts and audio_ts

What do I have to do now to finish making a copy of my dvd? What do I have to do with these files…which program do I have to run now to finish this process of copying my dvd? Thanks appreciate it. I have
imgburn, dvddecryptor and shrink installed on my computer but don’t know how to use any of these with dvdfab to make the copy. Thanks

there are guides which can offer you more details. but here is the short answer.

open dvd shrink and open files button to navigate to the dvd ouput video_ts folder.
http://www.dvdshrink.info/guides.php

dvd shrink will produce an ISO output which can then be burned with ImgBurn.

also there is a version of dvd shrink with ImgBurn enabled for burning.

if you need help there are members here which are happy to help.

It would be easier just to buy dvdfab platinum and let it do it all ( copy, shrink, burn ) and you can either use Imgburn, Nero or the vso engine to burn it

I second that DVDFab and Imgburn works great for me.

Thanks, I do get confused though sometimes about what programs do what and the “order” they need to be done in.

For example…I used DVDFab to copy to my hard drive, then I used Shrink and Imgburn…so DVDFab copies, Shrink…well does what it says and Imgburn burns.

What are dvddecryptor and ripit4me made to do? Or are they one in the same? Can someone post a link or briefly explain the process to copy a DVD so I can understand a bit more clearly? thanks again, appreciate it.

just keep doing the three. :iagree:

[ol]
[li]DVDFab decrypts the dvd and rips to hard drive http://www.dvdfab.com/docs/[/li]
[li]DVD Shrink compresses the video to fit to a single layer dvd. http://www.dvdshrink.info/guides.php[/li]
[li]ImgBurn writes the video data to dvd disc. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=61[/li][/ol]

dvd decrypter is an outdated program to break copy protections, it was developed by the same author as ImgBurn, but is no longer updated.

ripit4me is an automated process which uses a couple different programs to decrypt, rip, shrink and burn your dvd backups.
