This is why I keep a clean working Image so if those infections start I just wipe clean and no more ransomware. It’s not too much work to do but this will save alot of headache or just use your Factory Install Recovery Media and wipe it clean and restart over. Or better yet take out the HDD and attach as USB drive and copy your data off and wipe it clean and reinstall. People are making this problem way to hard. All the laptops I build and install I create their own Custom Recovery media so they can wipe clean and start right over and plus it’s custom Custom Recovery media so no more Factory recovery media just Custom one works just as good and better no more bloat just what they need.
