My father just bought 2 memory cards, each of 1 GB of ram DDR (Kingston).
When I put them in the computer sees all of the memory, but when I play games (for example FIFA 2008 or The Sims 2) it simply crashes. The thing is that the computer's original memory ( a 256 mg ram) works with these games. In motherboard's manual sais something about in BIOS to set to expanded memory or something like that, i searched but there is none of something like that. I have a AMD Socket A Processor Motherboard GA-7VT600(-L); and a micro processor AMD ATHLON XP 2200+ (which works with 1.8 gh)
PLEASE im staying with the memory in front of me and im freaked out to use the 256 memory!!!:a:confused:
