Quick Q: recording net streaming audio

Just a quick Q: I’m a complete newb when it comes to live audio - is there anyway to record streaming audio that’s coming via the 'net (as opposed to input devices - I know how to do that with Pyro :D)?

I am of course talking about non-copyrighted stuff.

Probably you could use any audio recorder software to “catch” the streaming sound and saving it as an file.

Like Pyro then?

Is ‘catching’ easy?

Streambox VCR should do the trick, you’ll have to google it as the link I have to it is dead.

A few places can’t do it anymore, looks like it’s going the same way as Decrypter, but I managed to find a site that hosts it, phew!

Thanks guys!
