As far as I am aware, Nero CD/DVD Speed doesn't affect the drive.
The quality test shows PIE and PIF levels in the playback of the burned data. Lower PIE and PIF is better, and I generally pay more attention to the PIF figure. To run the test click on the Quality tab within Nero CD/DVD Speed and hit start.
I haven't got either of your drives, so am not familiar with them, or their capabilities as scanners.
I haven't got a definitive answer for you on whether you should reburn this movie with a bit of compression to make it slightly smaller. Since this copy is playing well, you may not need to. And you've used good media, so that is in your favor as well. Up to you I'm afraid.
