I am in need of some straightforward answers regarding the use of Exact Audio Copy. I am trying to create exact, perfect copies of commercial CD's, with no alteration of the audio in any way. I would think this would be a basic function of the program, but the guides I've found only seem to address the use of the program to make smaller files with minimal loss for convenient use in mp3 players, etc. I don't want to make any changes, I simply want to make a perfect clone of a commercial disc. Is there a guide out there that explains in step by step form how to do this? I am on a bit of a time limitation to get started, as the original discs will be out of my possession in the next week or so, which leaves me with the need to get started on this soon. I'll be doing a large number of discs, so I need to make sure I'm doing everything perfectly before I get started.
I've also read that I may need to get additional software to actually burn the disc, as EAC is not the best option for this. Is that true?
Thanks for any information provided on this frustrating topic.
