Constellation3D produces fluorescent storage technology, that may one day bring up to a Terabyte of data to desktops.
Fluorescent liquid is placed in the data pits of our media, that radiates fluorescent light once hit by the standard CD/DVD red laser reading light. So we just focus on the particular layer we want to read and interpret the bursts of fluorescent light as video/audio/data signals. With this technique, we can probably read 100 or more different layers, eventually resulting in Terabyte (= 1,000 GB) storage on a DVD-sized disc!

...The credit card sized ClearCard, with 5-10GB capacity, will operate in the CD/DVD space.

Mass production of ROM media is scheduled for next Summer, and of -R media in Winter next year.

1 Terrabyte CD....hmm wondering how the TL-crew are gonna fill all that
