Im using latest DVD Shrink and on a DVD movie there is one Full Frame version and one WS version of the movie. What is the best way to remove the Full Frame version?
And keep the menus?
DVDShrink doesn't really offer this yet, however Nero's Recode (a brief free trial, then not) which was partially designed by DVDShrink does have the ability to replace an unwanted "extra" such as that with a still picture. The still picture repeats for the length of the original extra, so it still takes SOME space, but not much. If you choose a still picture such as a solid black image, it won't take much space at all.
The closest DVDShrink comes to that is replacing the unwanted extra with a series of still pictures grabbed from every minute of the whole extra - like a stop motion version of the film (course you can delete the audio too). That tends to use a lot of space, and takes some time to encode, but it may be the solution - you just have to try it and see whether it cleared enough room off or not.
If not, use Nero's Recode.
Perhaps others can offer freeware solutions? I think I recall hearing these is at least one other program that can swap out an extra with a still frame while retaining the menu.
