Question about burned DVD

I was just wondering. I have a burned DVD-R Disk that i spilt a glass of tap water on the dye side. I did not know the water had spilt on it so it was left on the dye for about 3-4 days.

When i noticed the quite wet disk surface i cleaned and dried all of the water off the disk with a professional CD cleaning cloth (the cloths have some isopropyl alcohol on it for cleaning the CD’s).

My question is will the water being spilt and left on the DVD-R burned disk ruin the disk or cause problems with the data being read on the Disk. It was a movie backup on the disk.

Thanks

If your drive reads it ok, make another back up of it & keep them dry the next time
