Try putting a copy of a Nero wnaspi32.dll file in the same folder as your CDSpeed/DiscSpeed executable - this might help.
I’m not sure if other wnaspi322.dll files such as FrogASPI can be used instead of the Nero one (which is no longer separately downloadable from the Nero site).
Thanks for taking the time and trouble to resolve the problems.
wnaspi32.dll in the same folder as DiskSpeed- message along the lines “no disk attached” whoops.
Tried frogASPI (renamed to wnaspi32.dll) DiskSpeed runs and sees both drives but when I select the USB drive (optiarc) the start button is greyed out on all the test options. Yet DiskSpeed will read the disk - Disk Info.
I’ve found another supplier for a Pioneer DVR-115, so I’m going to return the DVR-116 for a refund buy the DVR-115 and possible another DVD to use for PI/PO/Jitter scanning.
Bet you can see this question coming - any suggestions as to what to get (will only be used for testing)??
Thanks for all your help
