We’ve just posted the following news: Qarnot moves data centre servers into the home as “heaters”[newsimage]http://static.myce.com/images_posts/newsitem_small.jpg[/newsimage]

Qarnot computing designed a “Digital heater”, which is designed to be installed like a heater in the home. Each heater takes on Qarnot’s corporate clients computing workload to produce heat, while the electricity used is reimbursed back to the home owner.

I can see this being an advantage where the country had suitable network infrastructure …
