Pulsing in speeded up recording using time correction in Nero wave editor - help!

I am trying to use nero wave editor’s time correction feature to speed up a recording of chamber music. It works well except that on notes that are held out there is a strong/weak pulsing that happens. It sounds like some sort of interference beats between frequencies that are close together - but that is just a guess. I have read the PDF help file for wave editor and it has a sentence that the undesired effects of time correction can be remedied in some cases - but it gives no details. It also says that more indepth help can be found using online help - but I’ve searched nero’s site and not been able to find this help section.

Just wondered if anybody here had encountered this problem or knows how to remedy the situation.
