I just finished what turned into a disaster of trying to solder some wires up to my ps2 motherboard. I have seemed to have damaged 2 resistors on the motherboard. Was hoping someone with the same motherboard could help me out and take a ohm meter to there’s to tell me the values so I can try replace them. It’s a scph-75002 with a GH-041-14, http://www.brisbane-mods-brisbane-modchip-brisbane-australia.com/images/install-guides/modbo-4/V14-V15.jpg part 4, it is the resistor where the red bit 3.3v is and the smaller one above in the middle. As well could you test if those 3 resistors are connected to the large black one below at all?
psx-scene.com forum is probably your best place to ask, the Hardware Help, Soldering Tips, Tricks, Repair & Fixes section. That’s where your most likely to find your answer.
