ProtectDisc v7.72 Stopping my from Making a Backup Copy

I am new to this site and very grateful that it is available. I have been trying to backup a copy of an interactive anatomy cd-rom so I don’t have to take the original copy back and forth to school in my bookbag. When I made a copy with Alcohol 120 and CloneCD, both times when I tested the backup disk it detected it was not the original copy and would not run. I used Protection ID to find the source and it said it detected ProtectDiSC v7.72 [Build 61604]. I know next to nothing about this stuff- just stuff what I’ve been reading, and I can’t find much info on ProtectDisc except on the company’s website. I did find this site, but I’m not sure what all it means. http://www.cdmediaworld.com/hardware/cdrom/cd_protections_protectcd.shtml#ProtectCD . Any advice to remedy my dilema would be great. The program is called Anatomy & Physiology Revealed 2.0 by McGraw-Hill.

Hi. I’ve been trying to make a backup copy of A&PR as well. Did you ever figure out how to do it?
