Prodisc R03 or Ritek G05 for my 1673S?

Hi all!
I’m looking for cheeper media than TY/MCC and i’ve found these:

  • Datawrite Titanium +R 8x (Prodisc R03)
  • RiDisc Xtreme +R 8x (Ritek G05)
for about the same price per disc

Wich one should i buy to have best writing quality?
I’m not intresting in overspeed/overburn, only write quality

Prodisc R03 is good media for your 1673S

And in my experience, Datawrite had better quality-grades than Ridisc

It’s exactly what I wanted to hear :iagree::bigsmile:
Thanks!

@ Fuzzo

Ritek G05 is -R media…
Burned once a G05 for someone else, burn was acceptical, but certainly not first class. Maybe better in 1673/93?

 Leo

Ritek G05 is known to be variable quality. Some batches are great, others are not. I agree that Prodisc may be a better bet for you, though depending on the return policy of your store, you might want to give the Riteks a shot.

a disc i can recomend is the datawrite red’s with a ricohjpnr01 dye they tend to come under the 4x category but most burners burn them at 8x and for a disc thats been sitting around as they dont make them anymore they scan great.

I’ve read badly
I’m sure now: i’ll buy Prodisc (DataWrite Titanium) :iagree:

In my favorite online shop there are also DataWrite Titanium -R 16x, but with unspecified media code: someone has tried it?

I’m for the +R media, however my personal record is with TYG02 -R media
