Yeah, weird forum bug again.
Yup, 2.3GHz would equal a 3400+ PR... so if I jack it up some more tonight and set it at 2.4GHz, it'll mean 3600+... and 2.5GHz will be 3800+...
A couple of things you'll need to do before aimming @ 2.3GHz.
1) RAM. The Barton 2500+ runs on 333FSB, so you'll need to at least get some good PC2700 RAM.
2) PSU. Clocking at 2.3GHz will totally put your PSU to the test, which I don't think a 300W will handle. You'll need to get at least a True350. Or if you want to go cheap, newegg.com's Allied Power 400W is a good choice.
To start off, your KT4 Ultra is a 333FSB mobo. If you're lucky, you might get 400FSB w/ the right RAM, but stability could be an issue.
The AQXEA is a new stepping from week 20 or something. I'm running a AQXDA 0313. Got another AQXDA 0314 in the box... nah, I"m not even gonna try. I'm selling it.
Wait, actually, you won't get very far w/ the KT4 Ultra mobo since it's using VIA chipset and VIA doesn't do AGP/PCI lock.
