Problems with my 2500A

I’ve previously burnt over 100 dvds and just bought a new stack. They are Memorex DVD-R 16x. However, I’m getting an “Illegal Disc” error with Nero and a test burn. I’ve tried updating to several firmware versions. Official 1.0A by Nec. And I just recently tried the 2150A firmware release by Liggy and Dee. But no such luck =( here is my log report:

Certainly sound likes a poor quality blank Media problem.

Suggest visiting the below Web Link and read up on DVD Media. When reviewing the below link you will notice that most Memorex Media is actually manufacture by CMC Magnetics Taiwan and is 4th Class Media with a 0-50% success rate. Knowledgeable informed individuals avoid Memorex Media at all costs.

Suggest acquiring known high quality 1st Class Media such as Taiyo Yuden TYG02 or TYG03 and you should not have any problems.
