I had the same problem before with my LO LS drive, go here and download the latest software, and try it out.

It appears he already has the latest version of LSS – 1.14…

If you can do LightScribe on a different drive from this PC, then it is likely the affected drive has a fault.

I would try uninstalling the LSS and the Labeling application and then reinstalling both. If you still have trouble, the LightScribe Diagnostic can provide useful info.

Just a shot in the dark, but do you have the LS disk upside like it is supposed to be?

#6

Do you have the latest driver for your SATA chipset from Asus (assuming you are using the onboard SATA port and not an expansion card)?

There have also been various problems with DVD-RW drives when the SATA adapter is set to RAID mode.

Yes ¬¬
I don’t find the sata driver for my motherboard
The model is PN5-D :frowning: (I have the latest forceware for my motherboard with chipset 750i)

Is it the same as the one on the site: http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us&model=P5N-D (not the RAID driver)?

The nForce driver on http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_winxp_15.17.html shows a SATARAID and SATAIDE driver. Make sure you use the right one.
